This position is based at the Beverly, MA location but will be responsible for leading and overseeing the Human Resources function and team for the 4 manufacturing sites in the Massachusetts and Connecticut region. Successful candidates will direct and coordinate human resources activities such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, training, audits/compliance, and other employee-related services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide management, guidance, and support to MA/CT HR team members.
- Provide strategic business partnership to site leadership teams.
- Manage and assist with full-cycle recruiting process.
- Manage the new hire onboarding and off-boarding processes.
- Provide advice, coaching and counseling to employees and managers regarding policy & procedure interpretation and employee relations issues.
- Prepare various weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
- Provide guidance and support on the performance management process.
- Maintain data in HRIS system (Workday) and generate reports as needed.
- Deliver presentations to employees and others as needed regarding human resources policies and practices.
- Partner with the Learning & Development team on training and development needs for managers and employees.
- Partner with Benefits Team to provide guidance on programs such as medical/dental/vision/life insurance, wellness programs, 401k, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
- Participate in the investigation of accidents and safety concerns.
- Create programs to enhance employee engagement and job satisfaction.
- Assist in site audits and compliance related matters.
- Maintain continuous learning of latest HR trends, best practices and technologies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or Organizational Development or related field required.
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business or Organizational Development or related field preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in Human Resources, including Human Resources leadership experience within an operations environment.
- Manufacturing industry experience is required. Semiconductor industry experience a plus.
- Knowledge and experience in recruitment, EEO-Affirmative Action, employment law, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, employee engagement, and development.
- Knowledge of Federal and MA/CT State laws.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop Human Resources department team members.
