Benefits Manager

Location my be Phoenix, AZ;  Omaha, NE; or Remote
 
 Joining the company’s Total Rewards & Systems Team within the Human Resources department, this role will work within a fast-paced and dynamic environment that values talent, innovation and delivery of best-in-class solutions. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Deep and varied knowledge of benefit plans and programs including health, welfare, wellness initiatives and retirement (401k), as well as regional programs and notifications, with ability to administer such programs timely and accurately
  • Can successfully support management’s decision-making by analyzing benefits options, predicting future costs and implementing programs with positive energy and drive
  • Proven ability to spot trends and solutions regarding emerging marketplace activities and make actionable recommendations
  • Not only maintains the legal compliance of benefit plans but keeps current on possible upcoming legislation
  • Maintains productive relationships with benefit consultants and providers, and holds all parties accountable for results
  • Efficient tracking of vendor billing, including timely analysis of any changes to timing or amount
  • Facility with working and managing data within an HCM such as Workday, as well as working within multiple vendor data portals
  • Contributing member and active participant in Total Rewards & Systems Team as well as broader Human Resources Team and Advisor Group enterprise 
Basic Requirements:
  • Learning agility - Able to quickly assimilate to new projects or information, and stay organized throughout multiple priorities
  • Effective presentation skills - Able to write technical matters clearly and verbally restate complex issues in an effective manner for the audience
  • Trusted team player - Be someone who can work well throughout the department and multiple levels in the organization
  • Demonstrates priority setting, business acumen, project planning and composure under pressure
  • Proficiency in HCM tools
 
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university is required
 
Preferred Requirements:
  • CBP or similar designation desired but not required
  • Proficiency and experience in Workday
