Learning and Development Program Manager

Position Overview


Key Functions and Responsibilities

  • This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports
  • Work with functional teams to source, allocate and coordinate resources for training
  • Gather and analyze data on training performance results
  • Manage the tools, processes, and people to coordinate the logistical details and run our key training programs
  • Manage the communication strategy to promote and highlight key training initiatives
  • Drive adherence to standard learning solutions as well as getting feedback from leadership on areas of opportunity for improvement
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • 5+ years’ experience in L&D, operations, change management or similar Customer-facing role
  • Experience consulting with internal stakeholders to determine appropriate solutions
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication, organizational skills and program and project management
  • Experience developing and implementing training goals and strategies based on broader organization goals
  • Experience building, interpreting, and communicating performance metrics to multiple organizational levels
  • Experience delivering virtual training/information to various levels of employees
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in global environment
  • Proven ability to influence others without having positional authority
  • Experience sourcing, vetting, and managing 3rd party training vendors

  • A strong focus on internal customers’ needs and satisfaction, with an emphasis on demonstrating the return on investment of training
  • Understanding of industry learning trends and future learning programs to help drive innovation
  • Technical aptitude to be able to quickly learn new technologies and implement blended learning solutions
  • Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and prioritize, manage, and complete projects with tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and evaluating operational and professional learning programs
  • Experience with instructional design tools
