Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for recruiting and hiring high quality talent that meets the business needs of the company. This will be achieved through the development of recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, innovative recruiting ideas utilizing successful candidate demographic profiles. The Talent Acquisition team will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring and retaining the best possible talent.
Position Accountabilities
The following are essential accountabilities: • Assist in the design and development of a Talent Acquisition Strategy for the company and maintain the recruitment process in the organization (including policies, procedures, recruitment metrics, reporting, and remedial actions to close gaps). • Partners with Manager-HR Business Partner to set recruitment initiatives, monitor vendor performance, develop communications and set strategy to create a pipeline of qualified candidates. • Develop a recruiting and interviewing plan for each assigned position focused on understanding the department needs and creating a successful candidate profile. • Utilize best practices in sourcing and talent acquisition with an emphasis on fit and retention and make recommendations to implement appropriate best practices in the organization. • Conduct job interviews, monitor status of job offers and educate candidates on culture and core values and company benefits. • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining professional networks and participating in professional organizations. • Responsible for fulfilling staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews and making recommendations to hiring managers. • Manage and implement the pre-hire and onboarding process. • Assist with the creation of job descriptions. • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport. • Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting agencies, utilizing social media sites and jobsites. • Commit to working together as one team, exceed service expectations by developing positive relationships and treat others with value and respect…always.

Position Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. Preferred Education: Master's Degree Minimum Experience: 3 years in recruiting and talent management or 3 years of comparable leadership/HR experience Preferred Experience: 5 or more years of recruiting and talent management
