Reporting to the Chief People Officer (CPO), and a member of our leadership team, the AD-PS is responsible for overseeing all People Services (PS) support for the global organization. This position leads, coaches and guides the PS team members by facilitating growth, defining and driving change throughout the enterprise. You will work closely with the CPO and the Executive Team to implement and enhance organization policies and procedures. This role requires high confidentiality and a clear understanding of People Services and data security on a global scale. While the PS team will take care of the day-to-day work in recruitment, learning, new hire on-boarding, benefits, disciplinary actions, off-boarding and payroll processes, the AD-PS will need to be comfortable jumping in to help as needed and will lead key initiatives. Strategic Focus:
Act from a deep understanding of our business - our key metrics, drivers for growth and our 3-year objective to facilitate and execute the People Strategy to support it
Implement and iterate on HR systems and processes to support a workforce that will scale domestically and globally worldwide within the next few years
Collaborate as a member of the leadership team to map how our business and people services operations align
Assist and execute key global talent initiatives and programs that align with our culture and values to help leaders scale their organizations
Coach and roll-out solutions empowering our leaders to be better managers and develop programs that prepare high-potential employees for their next role
Professional Development
Serve as a coach, champion and consultant in training our middle management
Develop or acquire the appropriate needed functional and behavioral training
Employee Engagement
Work with the leadership team and function as facilitator in maintaining the title of “best place to work”
Manage the employee engagement surveys
Performance Management
Support managers in employee relations and performance matters while adhering to our policies
Develop and execute a consistent performance management process
Ensure managers are trained on performance management to develop our talent pool
Meet regularly with all managers ensuring a pro-active approach to any employee relations issues
Compliance
Ensure internal policies and procedures are followed regarding all PS issues
Proactively find ways to improve processes or policies
Manage immigration visa status for small number of employees; consult with immigration attorneys on H-1B and permanent residency process
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business or HR management
A minimum of 5 years in a senior manager or junior director-level HR role
Self-directed leader with prior experience building the People Ops function at a rapidly scaling company
Expertise in legal compliance both at the Federal and State levels
Successful, firsthand experience working as a global People Services leader
Extreme focus of internal customer experience and confidentiality
Demonstrated effective communication skills (oral and written), especially in sensitive situations
Highly organized person who thrives with a rapidly changing, global environment
Highly Desirable Qualifications
3+ years’ experience in a SAAS company a plus
Experience in working in a company with international offices
Experience with a completely remote employee population a plus
