HR/Recruiting Coordinator

Phoenix, AZ

This position supports the Human Resources and Recruiting team with the hiring process and general HR duties.   The individual will handle confidential and sensitive information and is expected to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Major Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Monitor applicant tracking system to increase velocity of candidate review.
  • Help the Recruiting Team facilitate the hiring process with review of applications and resumes, administer testing, and schedule interviews.
  • Support the hiring process which may include conducting phone screens and participating in on-boarding and new-employee orientation processes.
  • Review and keep up-to-date company resources such as job postings, position descriptions, and salary survey information.
  • Administrative duties such as maintaining HR records and files.
  • Other duties/special projects as assigned.

Knowledge and, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience supporting an HR Team and hiring processes.
  • Knowledge of HR processes and employment laws.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Excellent time management, organization and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner with accuracy.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Qualifications for Consideration

  • High school diploma completed
  • Completion of Human Resources degree, certification, or coursework preferred.
  • 2 or more years of HR experience with a focus on hiring processes.
  • Experience with Paycom HR/Payroll systems or other Applicant Tracking system preferred.
