Role Description:
A Total Rewards Consultant manages and administers an organization’s compensation and benefits programs.
This is a contract to possible permanent position.
Key Accountabilities (Performance Profile):
· Salary Administration: Implement and manage day-to-day salary changes, ensuring payroll reflects accurate employee compensation.
· Benefits Coordination: Handle the enrollment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
· Market Data Gathering: Collect and input market salary and benefits data to assist with benchmarking efforts and ensure competitive pay and benefits offerings.
· Compliance Checks: Regularly review compensation and benefits practices to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, updating documentation as needed.
· Employee Inquiries: Respond to employee questions and concerns regarding their pay, benefits, and other aspects of their total rewards package.
· Data Entry and Reporting: Maintain accurate records in HR systems, update employee compensation and benefits information, and generate reports as required.
· Processing Transactions: Assist in processing compensation adjustments, bonuses, and benefits changes, ensuring all transactions are completed timely and accurately.
· Vendor Coordination: Work with benefits vendors to resolve issues, process claims, and manage ongoing relationships.
· Wellness Initiatives: Lead and organize wellness programs and activities, such as health challenges, fitness programs, and mental health workshops, to promote employee well-being.
· Other duties as assigned
Key Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviors:
· 4-year degree from a credited university or a combination of related experiences. A master's degree or MBA is a plus.
· Certifications in specialization
· Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in data entry, reporting, and processing of compensation and benefits changes.
· Customer Service Orientation: Provide responsive and helpful service to employees regarding their compensation and benefits.
· Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using HR software, payroll systems, and Excel for data entry and reporting.
· Organizational Skills: Effectively prioritize multiple tasks, especially during benefits enrollment periods or compensation review cycles.
· Problem-solving: Address issues related to pay, benefits, or system errors promptly and efficiently.
